We're currently seeking a Scientist II to join a team of bioanalytical professionals supporting groundbreaking clinical research. The Scientist II is responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analysis, supporting sample preparation, maintaining accurate data, adhering to SOPs, and contributing to the overall success of the ligand-binding bioanalytical laboratory. You will support appropriate development, validation and use of analytical methods through sample processing and analyzation, calibration, data reporting, and quality control testing.
What You Will Do:
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Record test results accurately in both paper and electronic notebooks, ensuring data integrity and compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize various sample preparation techniques for performing ligand-binding assays like ELISA, PK, ADA, and biomarker assays
- Learn operation, analysis, and maintenance of LBA instrumentation and systems.
- Support LBA method validation studies.
- Help analyze data and troubleshoot experiments with your team.
- Keep the lab organized, instruments calibrated, and quality standards top of mind.
- Supporting quality control activities by participating in the review and verification of test results and procedures.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 3+ years of laboratory experience, preferably in a GLP or GMP environment.
- Experience with ligand-binding assays.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and reporting.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
