Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist working with elementary-aged students in a dynamic school environment near the scenic Oregon coast. This contract position allows you to bring your expertise to students who need your support while balancing a moderate and flexible workload.
Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy license in Oregon
- Previous experience or strong interest in school-based OT settings
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes and building rapport with children
Role Overview:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for elementary-age students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Adapt OT strategies to meet individual student needs within the school setting
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support students’ functional skills for classroom participation and daily living
- Commit to a schedule of 16–24 hours per week, working 2–4 days per week throughout the full school year
