Special Education Teacher - Lakeville, MN

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License is required
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction in a resource classroom setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students on caseload
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Provide guidance, support, and advocacy for students with special needs
• Adapt curriculum and teaching techniques to accommodate varied learning styles and abilities
