With an initial commitment of 20 hours per week—and potential for increased hours—you'll provide essential psychological services, play a key role in assessments, and contribute to the emotional well-being and educational success of students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience or strong interest in working with students on the Autism spectrum
- Comfort with a hybrid schedule: ideally on-site, or willing to work on-site one day per week for evaluations and testing with the balance of hours virtual
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience supporting K-8 populations preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students at the Autism Center
- Provide individual and group counseling to support emotional, behavioral, and academic success
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop effective intervention and support plans
- Deliver virtual services as appropriate, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
