Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary and middle school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Raleigh and Durham, NC. This onsite position is scheduled to start between late August and early September, offering a flexible commitment of 25-30 hours weekly, with possibilities for additional hours if preferred.

You’ll work directly with a caseload of around 30 children, delivering impactful therapy in a well-equipped therapy room. All necessary materials will be provided, allowing you to focus on what you do best—helping young learners thrive. The role utilizes the ECATS system to streamline your workflow, ensuring documentation is accessible and efficient.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Valid SLP license (CFY and CCC considered)
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, healthcare, and with diverse student populations
  • Proficiency with ECATS or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to providing high-quality, student-centered care

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Complete sessions and documentation using the ECATS system
  • Participate in student meetings, IEPs, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Adjust caseload hours based on student needs and your availability
