Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs are also encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience working in a school environment highly desirable
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
  • Assess and document students’ progress, maintaining compliant records and preparing necessary reports
  • Partner with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic skills
  • Deliver both individual and group therapies tailored to diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the integration of speech/language goals into the curriculum
