Be a part of it.Cygnet Group are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker (Days) with a passion for delivering outstanding care.Youll be working full-time, 40 hours a week, working Days Only, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at The Old Vicarage.The Old Vicarage is a specialist residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. We provide specialist care and support that is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.We encourage and enable individuals we support to lead a full and happy life, working with them to discover their strengths, abilities, and preferences so that their care can be as person-centred as possible.The People We Support:Adults from the age of 18+ yearsIndividuals with a primary diagnosis of learning disability accompanied with behaviours that challenge including mental illness or a forensic backgroundIndividuals with a secondary diagnosis of personality disorder or autismMay have communication challengesMay have associated complex needsYour day-to-daySupport both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the serviceEnsure duties are allocated effectively and safelyOffer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our careProvide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional supportLearn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate wayAssist with medical & welfare needs and report as requiredSafeguardMaintain a safe & clean environment for allWhy Cygnet?
