\nLocation: Peterborough (with UK-wide travel)
Salary: £40,000 per annum, OTE £48,000 per annum + Benefits!
Contract: Full time, Permanent
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Trainer to join a growing team.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in specialist vehicles or machinery who enjoys sharing knowledge and developing others.
\nThis role is primarily based in Peterborough, delivering internal training, with regular travel across the UK to support customer training requirements.
\nThe Role
\nAs a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programmes for both employees and customers.
\nYou will play a key role in ensuring individuals are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills required to operate, maintain, and repair specialist equipment.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver structured training programmes aligned with business needs and individual development plans \n
- Collaborate with the Management Team to identify training objectives \n
- Create high-quality training materials, including: PowerPoint presentations, Written manuals and handouts and eLearning content \n
- Deliver training on the operation, programming, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment \n
- Act as a subject matter expert in digital systems and telematics, including customer support and route recording \n
- Provide technical advice and support to internal teams and external customers \n
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions in line with company and group guidelines \n
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure certification is issued promptly \n
- Continuously update training content to reflect product developments and innovations \n
- Support warranty procedures from a technical perspective \n
- Coordinate external training programmes (e.g. CPC and statutory training) \n
- Ensure compliance with City & Guilds quality assurance standards \n
About You
\nTechnical Experience:
\n- \n
- Background in a specialist vehicle, agricultural, or similar technical field \n
- Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems \n
- Hands-on experience with diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of machinery \n
- Experience delivering training across operator to technical levels \n
- Skilled in producing technical documentation and training materials \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications \n

Qualifications:

- Formal training in vehicle or agricultural equipment (or similar) \n
- Training in electrical and hydraulic disciplines \n
- Teaching or training qualifications (desirable but not essential) \n
