\nReports To: Deputy Care Operations Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 10:30am to 23:00pm
Pay rate: £13.49 p/h for days; £14.49 p/h for nights and weekends
Annual Remuneration:Starting from £30,819.60
\nWhat Youll Be Doing
\nYou will be responsible for leading and developing a team providing safe and
\n dignified transport services, including:
- \n
- Ensuring high-quality patient care during transfers, ensuring safety, comfort, \n
- and professionalism \n
- Training and mentoring new and existing team members \n
- Maintaining vehicle standards and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations \n
- Supervising and coaching the team to deliver exceptional care while maintaining a positive team culture \n
- Collaborating with the Deputy Care Operations Manager and other business leaders to implement best practices and new initiatives \n
- Managing rotas and optimising team productivity while balancing patient care and business goals \n
- Supporting business development through building relationships with clients and stakeholders \n
- Deputising for the Deputy Care Operations Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of service \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Full UK Manual Driving License (Required) \n
- Enhanced DBS Certificate within the last 3 years (Preferred) \n
- Experience in managing and developing teams in a healthcare or transport \n
- environment \n
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and manage difficult situations \n
- Passionate about patient care, demonstrating empathy and respect in all interactions \n
- Minimum 12 months driving experience in a relevant setting preferred \n
- Ability to act as a role model for quality patient care and company values \n

Please Note:
\nDue to the nature of our work, flexibility is essential. Shifts may vary
\n depending on patient needs, and overtime may occasionally be required.

- Over runs are paid at an additional £8 p/h. \n
- Enhanced Pay (£1.20 p/h) for work involving Place of Safety and Bed Watch activities \n
- Additional shift enhancements of £1.75 p/h may apply for call-ins or extra shifts \n
