We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join a dynamic and growing organisation operating in the global energy sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to take ownership of legal matters and work closely with senior leadership.

Role Overview

\n


\n

You will provide comprehensive legal support across the business, including:

    \n
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (including project agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs, and supply chain contracts).
  • \n
  • Advising on governance matters and preparing Board documentation.
  • \n
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and internal policies (GDPR, anti-bribery, tax compliance).
  • \n
  • Managing contract administration and maintaining efficient processes.
  • \n
  • Overseeing intellectual property matters, including assignments and licences.
  • \n
  • Advising on HR policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Handling litigation and dispute resolution as required.
  • \n
  • Staying up to date with relevant legislation and regulatory changes.
  • \n

About You

\n


\n
    \n
  • Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE, gained in-house or in private practice.
  • \n
  • Strong experience in commercial contracts and intellectual property.
  • \n
  • High level of commercial awareness and ability to operate in a regulated environment.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at Board level.
  • \n
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • \n
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • \n
