Job Description
The Role
\nWe are seeking a talented NQ Employment Solicitor to join the highly regarded Employment team of a Legal 500 ranked law firm based in central London.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or junior associate (up to 2 years' PQE) to join a well-established and growing team recognised for providing high-quality employment law advice to a broad range of commercial clients. You will work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload, gaining exposure to complex and high-profile matters while benefiting from excellent training, mentoring and long-term career progression.
\nThe successful candidate will advise employers across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with clients to deliver commercially focused and pragmatic legal solutions.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Advising employer clients on a broad range of day-to-day employment law matters. \n
- Supporting clients on disciplinary, grievance, capability and redundancy processes. \n
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, service agreements, staff handbooks and workplace policies. \n
- Advising on settlement agreements and negotiated exits. \n
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims, including preparing pleadings, witness statements and supporting documentation. \n
- Providing employment law support on corporate transactions, including TUPE and due diligence matters. \n
- Advising on discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal issues. \n
- Keeping clients informed of developments in employment legislation and best practice. \n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through responsive and commercially focused advice. \n
- Supporting business development initiatives, networking events and marketing activities alongside the wider Employment team. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Qualified Solicitor with NQ-2 years' PQE in Employment law. \n
- Strong employment law experience gained during training and/or post-qualification within a recognised law firm. \n
- Experience advising employer clients across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. \n
- Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills. \n
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to providing legal advice. \n
- Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. \n
- Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to develop a long-term career in employment law. \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver excellent client service. \n
