Lead Heavy Plant EngineerSouth West England£23 - £23.50 per hour + Overtime + Company Vehicle + BenefitsNEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established and highly respected civil engineering and earthworks contractor, who are looking to appoint an experienced Lead Heavy Plant Engineer to support their operations across the South West.This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior engineer who enjoys responsibility, variety and working on a wide range of machinery while supporting a busy fleet that is critical to major infrastructure and earthworks projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a fleet of heavy plant equipment including ADT's, dumpers, excavators and other large earthmoving machinery . You will play a key role within the engineering function, ensuring machines are maintained to a high standard, faults are diagnosed efficiently and downtime across the fleet is kept to an absolute minimum.The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills , previous experience working on heavy plant equipment and be confident working independently while supporting the wider engineering team.
