Hygiene Operative / Forklift Truck Driver (FLT) - Cold Storage WarehouseLocation: WisbechHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)Paid Hours: 37.5 hours per weekJob Type: Full-time | Temporary to PermanentPay: £12.92 per hour (Hygiene Duties) | £14.84 per hour (FLT Duties)Pay Frequency: WeeklyJDR Recruitment is recruiting for a Hygiene Operative with a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence to join a busy cold storage warehouse in Wisbech.This is a varied role where you'll primarily be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the warehouse. When required, you'll also support the warehouse operation by operating a forklift to load and unload vehicles.If you enjoy a hands-on role and are comfortable working in a temperature-controlled freezer environment, we'd like to hear from you.The RoleYour main responsibilities will include:Removing ice build-up throughout the warehouseSweeping floors and maintaining a clean, safe working environmentEmptying and replacing bin bagsCarrying out general hygiene and housekeeping dutiesOperating a forklift truck to load and unload goods when requiredSupporting the warehouse team during busy periodsWorking safely within a cold storage/freezer environmentFollowing all health and safety procedures and site hygiene standardsPay Rates£12.92 per hour whilst carrying out hygiene duties£14.84 per hour when operating the forkliftIf you spend more than four hours operating the forklift during a shift, you'll be paid £14.84 per hour for your entire shiftWhat We're Looking ForA valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent)Previous warehouse or industrial experienceComfortable working in a cold storage/freezer environmentA reliable, hardworking and flexible approachWillingness to carry out both hygiene and forklift duties as requiredGood awareness of health and safety proceduresWhat's on OfferMonday to Friday working pattern8:00am - 4:00pm shifts37.5 paid hours per weekWeekly payTemporary to permanent opportunityFull training providedPPE provided, including insulated clothing suitable for the freezer environmentOpportunity to join a well-established and supportive teamIf you're looking for a varied role that combines warehouse hygiene responsibilities with forklift driving, we'd love to hear from you.
