Salary: Competitive
Shift Pattern: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (annual rota provided)
\nAbout the Role\n
\n
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production machinery within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns, helping to maximise machine uptime and operational efficiency.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n
- \n
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on site machinery and equipment. \n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. \n
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to maintain and repair machinery. \n
- Maintain equipment including conveyors, bearings, pulleys, timing belts, sensors, motors, and other production machinery. \n
- Prepare new equipment for operation and carry out testing to ensure safety and performance. \n
- Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve reliability. \n
- Complete maintenance records and follow health and safety procedures at all times. \n
- Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently. \n
\nRequirements\n
\n
- \n
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, or Electrical Maintenance Engineer. \n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. \n
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment. \n
- Relevant engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or technical training. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
