Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Queenslie to hire a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.

Our client is in the FMCG sector and due to rapid expansion is seeking a Finance Assistant to assist the Financial Controller.

The main purpose of the job is to assist the Financial Controller in maintaining the accuracy of the Accounts Payable and Receivable ledgers liaising closely with our purchasing team to ensure that we are only paying for receipted goods and invoicing for despatched items.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Supplier invoices accurately ensuring all goods are received before posting
\n
• Maintain bank and credit card accounts and ensure reconciled daily
\n
• Update internal reports with relevant financial information
\n
• Review and post sales invoices
\n
• Ensure the prompt transmission of sales invoices
\n
• Assist with Credit Control
\n
• Undertake reconciliations as and when required
\n
• Assist the Financial Controller in any project work they may need.
\n
