SEND Teaching Assistants SEND Teaching Assistant required to support children at this amazing school in Solihull. This welcoming special school is looking to add two SEND teaching assistants / classroom assistants to the team to provide 1-2-1 and class support for secondary aged children with a range of special educational needs. This role requires a level 2 or level 3 teaching assistant who loves working with special educational needs and who greets every child with a smile.This friendly team offer outstanding support for staff and students, and you will feel welcome from day one. The school has excellent facilities where children flourish. You will be working closely with an experienced team of teaching assistants who love what they do. This school is focused on putting the needs of the pupils first. Experience supporting children with Autism or Complex Needs is preferred for this role.Job Role:\n

- Providing tailored support for a child with special educational needs. \n
- Working closely with an experienced team of teaching assistants to provide the best possible support. \n
- Understanding a range of Special Educational Needs including Autism, Complex Needs, and Aspergers’. \n
- Supporting the child on a 1-2-1 basis, delivering intervention where required. \n
- Managing behaviours, helping the child to engage with lessons. \n
- Recording progress of the child and reporting to the SENCO. \n
