Multi Skilled Operative (Temp to Perm)Location: Basildon/Rochford areaJob Type: Temp to PermRate: £21 per hour CISHours: 40 hours per weekAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to work on a temp-to-perm basis delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment works within the Social Housing sector across Basildon/Rochford area.Working within tenanted properties, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of trade tasks including kitchen and bathroom installations, joinery, plumbing, plastering, and general property maintenance. Experience with vinyl flooring is advantageous but not essential.This role would suit a reliable and customer-focused operative who is confident working independently within occupied homes and delivering high-quality workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out full kitchen and bathroom installationsCompleting a range of joinery repairs and installation worksUndertaking general plumbing tasks and minor repairsPerforming plastering and patch repairs as requiredInstalling vinyl flooring where necessary (desirable)Completing general maintenance and refurbishment works within occupied propertiesEnsuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulationsProviding excellent customer service while working in residents' homesMaintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all timesRequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates should have:NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery (or equivalent)Proven experience as a Multi Skilled OperativeStrong skills across multiple trades including joinery, plumbing, plastering, and kitchen/bathroom fittingPrevious experience working within the Social Housing sectorFull UK Driving LicenceAbility to work independently and manage workloads effectivelyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience fitting vinyl flooring is desirable but not essentialTo ApplyINDCTPBN1_UKTJ
