Credit Controller (Temporary) - LeatherheadLocation: Leatherhead (2 days per week in the office) Contract: 3 months initially Start Date: ASAPWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on an initial 3-month temporary contract.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in public sector credit control who can confidently manage outstanding debt while maintaining positive customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a portfolio of outstanding debt.Chasing overdue payments via telephone and email.Building and maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders.Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts where required.Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.Supporting the wider finance team to reduce aged debt and improve cash collection.About YouTo be considered, you'll have:Proven experience in a Credit Control role.Previous experience collecting debt from NHS organisations, Local Authorities, or other Public Sector organisations.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.Availability to start at short notice.If you're an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next temporary opportunity and have the relevant public sector collections experience, I'd love to hear from you.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
