\nAre you a proactive, organised and detail-focused Administrator? Would you like to work within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment? This is a key administrative role supporting the Production Planning team, ensuring accurate paperwork, system data and order information flow smoothly through the shop floor and production control processes.
\nAbout the Role
\nBased in the Production Control Office and reporting to the Head of Production Planning, you will provide essential administrative support that keeps manufacturing orders on track. You will handle paperwork launch and amendments, maintain system accuracy, investigate anomalies, and assist with stock-related activities, acting as a vital link between planners, the Drawing Office, shop floor and other departments.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nLaunch paperwork to accompany orders being processed through the shop floor
\nMake amendments to manufacturing orders (both waiting to start and already in progress)
\nLiaise with other departments for guidance on unique amendments
\nEnsure the latest information is updated on the system and reflected on paperwork
\nCheck completed paperwork for accuracy and completeness prior to archive scanning
\nSupport planners with the execution of the production plan
\nWork with daily reports to maintain correct and accurate system data
\nAction drawing and routing amendments as instructed by the Drawing Office
\nCarry out quantity deviations on started orders when actual output differs from plan
\nInvestigate transaction anomalies and correct them as required
\nAssist with the annual stock take and support production stores with stock investigations and system corrections
\nEssentials
\nGood communication skills
\nComputer and data literate
\nBasic mathematics combined with an analytical and logical approach, with the flexibility to adapt working methods
\nHighly organised with strong attention to detail
\nProactive, diligent and target-orientated
\nDesirable
\nPrior experience within a manufacturing environment
\nWorking Hours
\nMondayThursday: 07:30 16:00
\nFriday: 07:30 12:30
\n37 hours per week (days)
\nOvertime available when required
