We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for service users and staff. The successful candidate will carry out general cleaning duties and contribute significantly to our community's well-being.

• Follow detailed cleaning schedules to maintain high standards and comply with infection control policies.
\n
• Perform daily and deep cleaning tasks to ensure areas are disinfected and meet the highest hygiene standards.
\n
• Maintain personal presentation and hygiene to the highest standards.
\n
• Safely store cleaning equipment and materials in accordance with COSHH regulations and health and safety policies.
\n
• Report any equipment defects immediately to management to ensure safety.
\n
• Adapt to changes and carry out additional tasks as instructed by the shift leader or management to meet the service's evolving needs.
\n
• Respect and prioritize client privacy and adopt a person-centered approach in all tasks.
\n

• Proven experience in cleaning within a regulated environment, such as healthcare or education.
\n
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to follow strict cleaning protocols.
\n
• Good communication skills, capable of effective verbal and written communication.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
\n
• NQF Level 1 qualification (e.g., GCSEs Grades 3-1, NVQs Level 1) or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
\n
• Must have prior experience as a domestic assistant
\n
• Enhanced DBS check on Update Service
