Do you have experience coordinating engineers and managing schedules in a fast-paced environment? Are you highly organised, proactive and able to keep multiple projects running smoothly at the same time?

We're partnering with a successful and growing business that delivers specialist services across the UK. Due to continued expansion, they're looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join their friendly and supportive team in Basildon.

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience coordinating field-based engineers, planning workloads and managing client expectations. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, engineers are fully supported and customers receive an exceptional service.

\n

Working at the heart of the operation, you'll be responsible for scheduling nationwide engineering teams, coordinating resources and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues alike.

What You'll Be Doing\n

As Operations Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in keeping projects moving and customers happy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and scheduling engineers across the UK
  • \n
  • Acting as the central point of contact for field-based engineering teams
  • \n
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal departments
  • \n
  • Managing project schedules, resources and equipment requirements
  • \n
  • Organising both planned and emergency works to ensure service levels are maintained
  • \n
  • Ensuring engineers have everything they need to complete jobs successfully
  • \n
  • Monitoring project progress and supporting operational efficiency
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation
  • \n
  • Coordinating health & safety paperwork, risk assessments and method statements
  • \n
  • Supporting the smooth completion and administration of works carried out nationwide
  • \n
What We're Looking For\n
    \n
  • Previous experience coordinating, planning or scheduling engineers is essential
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • \n
  • Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • \n
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • \n
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • \n
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership
  • \n
  • Knowledge of health & safety documentation and compliance processes (advantageous)
  • \n
  • Nationwide geographical awareness (beneficial but not essential)
  • \n
