You'll play a key role in developing and enhancing web applications, supporting system integrations and delivering technology solutions that support strategic business objectives. Working as part of a close-knit development team, you will design, build and maintain web applications and services, delivering secure, scalable and high-quality solutions.Key responsibilities include:\n

• Developing and maintaining applications using Python, Django and related technologies
\n
• Writing clean, secure and testable code
\n
• Supporting and enhancing existing systems and applications
\n
• Gathering requirements and collaborating with stakeholders on technical solutions
\n
• Designing and implementing APIs and system integrations
\n
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
\n
• Working across front-end and back-end development
\n
• Participating in code reviews and supporting knowledge sharing within the team
\n
• Ensuring development work follows best practice for testing, security and documentation
\n
• Supporting UAT, testing and software releases
\n
• Contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and technologies
\n

Essential:\n

• Commercial experience developing with Python
\n
• Experience using Django
\n
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
\n
• Experience with SQL and database design
\n
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
\n
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions
\n
• Experience working with Bash and command-line tools
\n
• Experience with AWS cloud services
\n
• Strong understanding of software development best practice
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\n
