VP Legal (Private Capital/Transactions) - Global Financial Firm

A leading global financial advisory firm is seeking a commercially minded transactional lawyer to join its Legal team, supporting its highly regarded Private Capital Advisory business.

This is a unique opportunity to become embedded within a market-leading deal team, providing legal support across complex private capital transactions and working directly with senior stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted legal adviser, supporting deals from initial mandate through to execution and closing. This is a role for a lawyer who enjoys being close to the business, understanding commercial objectives and providing practical, solutions-focused advice.

The position would suit lawyers from a range of backgrounds, including:

• Private Funds – experience advising sponsors, investors or private capital businesses on fund-related transactions, secondaries or restructurings.
\n
• M&A – strong transaction execution experience and the ability to manage complex deal processes.
\n
• Banking / Finance – experience supporting sophisticated financial transactions in a fast-paced environment.
\n

The key requirement is a lawyer with strong commercial judgement, a proactive approach and the ability to operate as a trusted business partner.
