Job Description

Park Manager – Living Memorial Parks

\n

A Role with Real Purpose

\n

We are a values-led organisation operating at the intersection of nature, community and compassion. Custodians of beautiful, natural landscapes across Britain, we help families create lasting, meaningful tributes in settings that truly reflect a life well lived. We do things differently - and we're growing.

\n

We're looking for a commercially driven, relationship-focused Park Manager to join our team and lead local revenue growth from our park base. If you come from hospitality, retail or a service-led environment and are ready for a role where your commercial skills genuinely make a difference to people's lives, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

\n

\n

What You'll Be Doing

\n

This is a predominantly field-based, externally focused role - approximately 70% of your time will be spent building and managing revenue-generating partnerships with funeral directors and community organisations, with 30% supporting park operations and commercial performance.

\n

\n

Commercial Performance

\n
    \n
  • Own and deliver revenue, market share and profitability targets at park level
  • \n
  • Drive growth across a range of memorial products through structured partner engagement
  • \n
  • Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline and report against clear KPIs
  • \n
  • Protect pricing integrity and contribute to EBITDA performance
  • \n
\n

Account Management & Partner Growth

\n
    \n
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of local funeral director and community accounts
  • \n
  • Conduct regular, performance-focused account reviews
  • \n
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships founded on reliability and service excellence
  • \n
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities aligned to family needs
  • \n
\n

New Business Development

\n
    \n
  • Identify, approach and secure new funeral director partnerships
  • \n
  • Build strong local visibility and a credible reputation in the business community
  • \n
  • Develop referral channels and convert opportunities into sustained revenue streams
  • \n
\n

Leadership & Reporting

\n
    \n
  • Provide commercial direction to your direct reports, ensuring service delivery supports growth
  • \n
  • Monitor competitor activity and share market insight with senior leadership
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting across internal systems
  • \n
\n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

Essential

\n
    \n
  • Proven track record of delivering sales or revenue targets in hospitality, retail or service-led environments
  • \n
  • Demonstrable success in account management and customer relationship growth
  • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of margin and profitability
  • \n
  • Experience leading or influencing operational teams to support commercial outcomes
  • \n
  • Confident networker with strong pipeline management and KPI discipline
  • \n
  • IT literate across Excel, CRM and reporting tools
  • \n
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • \n
\n

Desirable

\n
    \n
  • B2B account management experience
  • \n
  • Territory or regional portfolio management
  • \n
  • Exposure to funeral, memorial, hospitality or community-based sectors
  • \n
\n

\n

What Kind of Person Thrives Here?

\n

You'll be the kind of professional who takes personal accountability seriously, brings energy and credibility to every external conversation, and remains solutions-oriented when the going gets tough. Crucially, you understand that in a sensitive sector, how you deliver results matters every bit as much as the results themselves.

\n

\n

What's on offer for you?

\n

The company are offering a base salary of 35-40k (depending on experience) plus performance related bonuses. There is a comprehensive benefits package on offer and the role will be predominantly based onsite with some occasional travel. Parking onsite is free.
