This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a large-scale enterprise change initiative, coordinating technical delivery across multiple teams, suppliers and business functions.The OpportunityAs Technical Project Manager, you'll be responsible for translating programme milestones into practical technical delivery plans and ensuring successful execution across your assigned scope.You'll work closely with technical specialists, business stakeholders, testing teams, infrastructure, security and external partners to keep delivery on track, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure readiness for critical programme milestones including testing, deployment, cutover and go-live.This role is all about driving delivery, enabling collaboration and maintaining control across a complex technical landscape.What You'll Be DoingDelivering Technical Change Create and maintain delivery plans aligned to programme milestones and stage gatesCoordinate technical activities across multiple teams, ensuring clear ownership and accountabilityTrack progress, manage actions and proactively remove delivery blockersHold internal teams and suppliers accountable for agreed commitmentsManaging Risks & Dependencies Own and maintain technical risks, issues, assumptions and dependenciesIdentify and escalate potential delivery impacts earlyAssess the impact of technical changes and provide informed recommendationsDrive resolution of cross-functional technical challengesLeading Cross-Team Coordination Bring together business, technical and supplier teams to ensure seamless deliveryCoordinate activities across integration, infrastructure, environments, security, data migration and testingEnsure technical deliverables are sequenced effectively to support SIT, UAT, cutover and go-live activitiesPromote transparent communication and effective handovers between teamsReadiness, Testing & Deployment Support planning and readiness activities across the programme lifecycleChallenge unrealistic plans, hidden dependencies and delivery risksCoordinate environment readiness, integration support and defect resolution activitiesPrepare and validate readiness evidence for deployment, cutover and hypercareWork alongside Test Managers and Release/Cutover teams to support successful executionGovernance & Reporting Produce clear, concise reporting for programme leadershipHighlight milestone confidence, key risks, issues and decisions requiredSupport governance forums and assurance reviewsContribute to service transition, operational handover and lessons learned activitiesAbout YouYou'll be a confident and organised project professional who can bring structure and clarity to large-scale technical programmes.You will be:? Skilled at turning technical plans into measurable delivery outcomesWhat We're Looking ForEssential Experience Significant project management experience delivering technology-enabled business transformation programmesConsiderable experience coordinating technical workstreams in complex enterprise environmentsProven track record managing risks, dependencies, milestones and delivery readinessExperience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare activitiesExperience working with internal technical teams, suppliers and systems integratorsDemonstrable stakeholder management and governance experienceAbility to operate successfully within structured programme delivery frameworksDesirable Experience SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC programme experienceERP transformation delivery experienceExperience within manufacturing, logistics, construction materials or other operationally intensive industriesExposure to data migration, integration, infrastructure and service transition activitiesQualifications Degree qualified in Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)PRINCE2, PMP, APM or similar project management certification preferredAdditional technical or IT service management qualifications would be beneficialThis is a rare opportunity to contribute to a high-profile SAP S/4HANA transformation programme that will shape the future of the business.
