Role Description This full-time, on-site Multi Skilled Tradesperson role is based in Billericay. The role involves carrying out a mix of carpentry and general building work, maintenance, and refurbishment in commercial properties. Day-to-day responsibilities may include completing small works and assisting with larger projects, and ensuring that all work complies with safety and building regulations. The tradesperson will coordinate with the office and site teams, provide clear updates on progress, and maintain a tidy and safe work area. The role also includes interacting with clients in a professional manner, assessing job requirements, and suggesting practical solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in building trades, with the ability to carry out general building and carpentry

• Practical skills across multiple disciplines (for example, basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating) to support a variety of projects.

• Strong understanding of health and safety practices, relevant regulations, and safe use of tools and equipment.

• Ability to read and follow job specifications, drawings, or work orders and to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with clients, colleagues, and suppliers in a professional manner.

• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to different job sites as required.

• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (such as construction, or building services) are highly beneficial.
