Outside IR35 Contract offering CIRCA £650 per day

Exciting assignment working on a Defence modernisation programme!

We are seeking a Cyber Security Architect with a hands-on delivery experience who excels in applied security architecture, secure-by-design principles, and engineering-led security integration.

You will be a part of a bigger team, working with a group of a Senior Security Architects and Digital Engineering stakeholders to produce security architecture artifacts, threat modelling, design assurance, and reusable patterns that strengthen the programme’s security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead and deliver core security architecture outputs including:

• Digital Engineering Security Artifacts and Engagement Report
\n
• Security Requirements Specification
\n
• Security Principles Framework
\n
• Infrastructure Mapping Document & Security Architecture Design Pack
\n
• Threat Modelling Report
\n
• Reusable Security Pattern Library
\n
• Knowledge Transfer Pack (training materials, handover content, recorded walkthroughs)
\n

We are looking for someone with:

\n
• Extensive Security Architecture / Security Consulting experience
\n
• Strong track record designing and reviewing secure infrastructure
\n
• Proven experience applying secure-by-design principles
\n
• Experience with Digital Engineering, secure architectural controls, and pattern-based design
\n
• SC or DV clearance is essential
\n

Engagement Model

\n
• 3 days per week on site in an air-gapped environment
\n
• Location: Reading
\n
• CIRCA Outside IR35 £650/day
\n
• Initial contract will be for 3-6 months, with an option to extend (as this programme is planned for few years)
