\nOur client is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to join its well-established Agriculture & Rural Affairs team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking firm renowned for delivering practical, commercially focused advice to clients throughout the region.

\nThe Role:
\nYou will manage a diverse and interesting caseload while acting as a trusted adviser to a broad range of rural clients, including farmers, landed estates, rural businesses, landowners and agricultural partnerships.
\nYour work is likely to include:
\n- \n
- Sales and acquisitions of farms, estates and agricultural land. \n
- Agricultural and rural property transactions. \n
- Farm business tenancies and Agricultural Holdings Act matters. \n
- Easements, rights of way and boundary disputes. \n
- Renewable energy projects, including solar, battery storage and wind developments. \n
- Strategic land and development agreements. \n
- Rural diversification projects. \n
- Agricultural partnership agreements and succession planning. \n
- Landlord and tenant matters. \n
- Working closely with colleagues across Private Client, Commercial Property and Corporate teams to provide a seamless service to clients. \n
- Developing and maintaining long-standing client relationships through networking and business development activities. \n
About You:
\nThe successful candidate will have:
\n- \n
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive. \n
- Previous experience advising on agricultural and rural affairs matters. \n
- Strong technical knowledge with a commercial and pragmatic approach. \n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- The ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision. \n
- A genuine interest in the rural sector and the challenges faced by farming and landowning clients. \n
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to the continued success of the department. \n
