Position: Experienced Plumber / Heating InstallerLocation: Schools throughout Hampshire and BasingstokePay: £240 per shift (subject to experience)Contract Type: Ongoing refurbishment worksStart Date: Immediate starts availableRole Overview We are seeking experienced plumbers to carry out mechanical and heating refurbishment works across multiple school sites in Hampshire and the Basingstoke area. The works primarily involve the replacement of radiators, steel pipework, and fan coil heaters as part of planned upgrade and refurbishment programmes.Key ResponsibilitiesRemove existing radiators, steel pipework and fan coil heatersInstall new radiators, associated steel pipework and fan coil units to required specificationsCarry out pipework modifications, connections, pressure testing and commissioningEnsure all installations are completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines and site specificationsMaintain clean, safe working practices within occupied or partially occupied school environmentsCoordinate with site supervisors, other trades and the clients project teamComplete all necessary paperwork, including risk assessments and method statements as requiredEssential RequirementsProven experience as a plumber on commercial or educational refurbishment projectsStrong practical experience replacing radiators, steel pipework and fan coil heatersRelevant plumbing qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)Valid CSCS cardFull UK driving licence and reliable transportAbility to work to programme across multiple school sitesEnhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one process can be supported)DesirablePrevious experience working in schools or other educational establishmentsKnowledge of commercial heating systems and fan coil unitsOwn tools and PPEWhat We OfferCompetitive rate of £240 per shift (subject to experience)Immediate start opportunitiesOngoing work across multiple school sites in Hampshire and BasingstokeRegular shift patterns with potential for further packages of workTPBN1_UKTJ
