Location: Weston-Super-Mare
Hours: Full-time | 08:30 15:30 (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £95 £120 per day
Start: September 2026

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant / LSA to join an Ofsted rated Outstanding primary school in Weston-super-mare.

\n

This is a full-time role supporting pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, helping them to flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued.

\n

The school is highly regarded within the local community and prides itself on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both pupils and staff. It offers bright, modern classrooms, excellent facilities and high-quality resources, all supported by a friendly, dedicated and collaborative team who are passionate about making a real difference every day.

The Role:

\n

General Learning Support Assistant / LSA

\n

Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis

\n

Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

\n

Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment

\n

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

\n

Encouraging independence, confidence and social development

\n

The Ideal Candidate:

\n

Has previous experience working with SEN children in a primary setting

\n

Is patient, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners

\n

Can work effectively as part of a team

\n

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service

\n
