Your Role\n

As a Primary Class Teacher at Herdley Bank School, you will play a vital role in the educational journey of pupils with diverse special educational and learning needs. Your mission will be to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • \n
  • Support the class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
  • \n
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
  • \n
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • \n
  • Build meaningful relationships with your pupils, encouraging interaction and positive learning outcomes.
  • \n
What We’re Looking For\n

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • \n
  • Possess a strong educational background to degree level.
  • \n
  • Have previous successful teaching experience.
  • \n
  • Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
  • \n
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques.
  • \n
  • Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
