I'm currently working with a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor that's looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation in the residential infrastructure sector, delivering a wide range of groundworks and civil engineering packages for leading housebuilders across the South.The RoleReporting into the Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role across both estimating and quantity surveying, supporting projects from tender stage through to final account.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing competitive estimates and tender submissions for residential groundworks projectsManaging project costs, valuations and variationsProducing cost plans, forecasts and commercial reportsSupporting contract administration and ensuring contractual complianceWorking closely with site, procurement and operational teamsAssisting with the agreement of final accounts and project changeBuilding strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholdersAbout YouWe're looking for someone who has:At least 3 years' experience within quantity surveyingExperience delivering groundworks or civil engineering projectsStrong commercial awareness and excellent numerical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordExperience using Bluebeam or similar take-off software would be advantageousA proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative teamWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageLong-term career progression within a growing contractorExposure to a varied portfolio of residential infrastructure projectsSupportive and experienced commercial leadershipStable workload with an established order bookIf you'd like to find out more about this opportunity, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.??Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
