We understand that not every HGV Class 1 Driver wants the same working pattern, which is why we work closely with both our drivers and our customer to accommodate individual preferences wherever possible.Whether you prefer day shifts, night shifts, tramping with paid night-out allowance, 'in and out' shifts with no nights away, weekdays only, weekends only or a mixture of both , we'll discuss your availability during registration and do our best to build work around your preferred schedule. Some drivers choose to work Monday to Friday, whilst others prefer just two or three shifts per week or specific days that fit around family life or other commitments.Typical work involves transporting palletised goods using modern articulated vehicles, with most routes consisting of 1 to 3 deliveries per shift . Average shift lengths are 8 to 10 hours , with occasional 12-hour shifts depending on the route.
