This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing Monday to Friday work, excellent rates of pay, a choice of Day or Night shifts, a maximum of two deliveries per shift and genuine temp-to-permanent opportunities.This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, Category CE Driver, C+E Driver, Trunk Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, HGV Driver or Commercial Driver .Shifts• Days | Monday to Friday | 05:00-06:00 starts  • Nights | Sunday to Thursday | 18:00-19:00 startsRates of Pay• Days | £17.00 per hour  • Nights | £18.50 per hour  • Weekly payBenefitsAs an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates  • Ongoing work  • Monday to Friday working  • Days & Nights available  • Maximum two drops per shift  • Weekly pay  • Genuine Temp to Perm opportunities  • Employee Wellbeing ProgrammeDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include:• Completing depot-to-store deliveries with a maximum of two drops per shift  • Delivering goods safely using a pump truck or tote pallets where required  • Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections  • Ensuring all loads are secured safely before transportation  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately  • Following Driver Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive and all road traffic legislation  • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly  • Providing a professional and courteous service at all timesEssential SkillsTo be successful in this role, you will need:• Valid UK Category CE (Class 1) Driving Licence  • Valid Driver CPC Card  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card  • Minimum two years' Class 1 driving experience  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsements  • Good spoken and written English  • Reliable, professional and safety-focused approachDesirable Experience• Previous depot-to-store or RDC delivery experience  • Experience using pump trucks  • Experience working to delivery schedules  • Experience within a fast-paced transport operationTraining Provided• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing work, excellent rates of pay and genuine long-term opportunities, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch to discuss the role further.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
