Class 2 Driver - NightsLocation: RochesterShift times: Monday to Friday, 10pm startPay Rate: £17.66 per hourWe are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on a temp to perm basis to join our client's busy transport operation in Rochester. This role involves night-time multidrop deliveries of car parts to dealerships and automotive customers across designated routes, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete night-time multidrop deliveries of car parts to dealerships and automotive customers.Carry out an average of 12-14 deliveries per day within similar postcode areas.Operate your vehicle safely and in line with company and legal requirements.Use a pallet truck to unload pallets when a customer forklift operator is unavailable.Use handheld scanners and complete delivery paperwork accurately.Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance and roadworthiness.Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery locations.RequirementsValid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.Newly qualified drivers welcome if they show the right attitude and potentialNo more than 6 penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.Good knowledge of the UK road network.ADR qualification is preferred but not essential.Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude.Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.Benefits25 days holiday plus bank holidays.Workplace pension scheme.Cycle to work scheme.High street discount programme.Ongoing training and development opportunities.Additional employee benefits.Apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
