The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues.

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components.

  • Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems accurately.
  • \n
  • Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
  • \n
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • \n
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • \n
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
  • \n
  • A valid driving license is needed

  • Advanced diagnostic fault-finding (electrical & mechanical systems)

  • Strong understanding of modern electrical systems and wiring diagnostics

  • \n
  • Fault isolation and systematic troubleshooting

  • Hydraulic and mechanical component understanding (transferrable)

  • High-pressure workshop productivity and time management
  • \n
  • Independent working and problem-solving
  • \n
  • Strong communication and customer-facing professionalism
