\nThe Department of STEM and Construction wish to appoint a motivated individual to work as part of our STEM & Construction delivery team.
\nYou will be a team player, with a passion for STEM related subjects and the ability to inspire pupils and students through targeted activities bringing the importance of STEM to our school partners. You will have an HNC qualification, in a relevant discipline, or a recognised professional or vocational qualification with relevant experience in construction, engineering or science. Some previous experience in outreach is desirable.
\nYou will be required to deliver outreach workshops and demonstrate the use of equipment and techniques to school groups from P5 - P7, along with delivery to some secondary school sessions. You will also be required to plan and deliver content for these workshops, develop further resources and where appropriate, assess the vocational competence of learners in this role while ensuring compliance with Health and Safety.
\nYou will be required to participate in other relevant activities such as Summer School and one off events.
\nA full clean driving license will be required.
