Your Role and Responsibilities\n

As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people.
  • \n
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • \n
  • Lead staff practice and drive continuous improvement in line with our standards.
  • \n
  • Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working.
  • \n
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring care plans and safeguarding procedures are implemented effectively.

What We’re Looking For\n

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or a willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding legislation.
  • \n
  • Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • \n
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

This is a 40-hour per week role where you will manage your own rota and participate in the on-call rota. Your leadership will shape a safe, stable, and nurturing environment, making a meaningful impact on the lives of children.
