Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and supportive SEN school in the Kettering area who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs. The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs, providing a nurturing environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

  Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons

\n
• \n

  Helping pupils develop their academic, social, and emotional skills

\n
• \n

  Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence

\n
• \n

  Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

\n

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)

\n
• \n

  A patient, resilient, and caring approach

\n
• \n

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

\n
• \n

  The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

\n
• \n

  A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
