Pertemps are recruiting an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a busy Facilities Management team in Gillingham, Kent on a temporary assignment.\n

• Location: Gillingham, Kent
\n
• Pay Rate: £16.97 per hour PAYE (paid weekly)
\n
• Contract: Temporary Assignment (01 September 2026 - 31 October 2026)
\n
• Hours: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
\n
• Occasional weekend work may be required
\n
• Basic DBS check required, or willingness to undertake one
\n

\n The RoleAs a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of decorating and maintenance tasks across facilities, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.\n
\n
Painter & Decorator Key Responsibilities
\n

\n
• Interior and exterior painting and decorating
\n
• Surface preparation including sanding, filling and cleaning
\n
• Applying paint, gloss, varnish and specialist finishes
\n
• Touch-up, repair and maintenance work
\n
• Ensuring all work areas are left clean and tidy
\n
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
\n
• Delivering excellent customer service and workmanship
\n
