Role Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Support the head of the loan processing unit with all loan activities
  • \n
  • Identify and remediate manual processes where further automation can be achieved.
  • \n
  • Disburse new loans / drawdowns ensuring the approved authorisation levels are adhered to.
  • \n
  • Perform next day validations on all new loans, loan extensions, repayments and fees taken
  • \n
  • Liaise with Finance to ensure and validate the correct booking of all loans and their component parts.
  • \n
  • Ensure interest payments are monitored, recorded and the necessary accounting entries accurately processed.
  • \n
  • Maintain master records for all loans and record all cashflows for each loan type.
  • \n
  • Act as a single point of enquiry for all audit enquiries from external auditors (From a back-office perspective).
  • \n
  • Monitor and report upcoming maturities. Notifying RMs when loans are due i.e., 1month / 2 weeks in advance.
  • \n
  • Provide exception reporting to Credit Risk, MCC etc. on overdue items
  • \n
  • Provide requirements input for further system development to support the LPU activities
  • \n
  • Involvement with project work and UAT.
  • \n
  • Represent the team at internal and external meetings as and when required.
  • \n
  • Compliance with the FCA/PRA’s Individual Conduct Rules, as outlined below.

This is a permanent position, paying up to £58,000.00 per annum based on experience.
