Job Description
The Head of Out-of-Home (OOH) Network is responsible for defining and executing JDL's European Out-of-Home strategy, covering Pick-Up Drop-Off (PUDO) networks, third-party locker networks, and JDL's own locker network. The role ensures all OOH solutions work together to deliver a seamless customer experience while improving last-mile efficiency, reducing delivery costs, and supporting JDL's long-term logistics strategy.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nStrategic Leadership

- Develop and execute the European OOH strategy across all markets. \n
- Ensure PUDO and locker networks complement each other to maximise customer coverage, operational efficiency, and cost savings. \n
- Identify new business opportunities and innovative OOH solutions that support network growth and carrier efficiency. \n
PUDO Network
\n- \n
- Own the European PUDO strategy and roadmap. \n
- Develop strategic partnerships with retail and PUDO network providers. \n
- Define and continuously improve PUDO fulfilment, in-store, and delivery SOPs. \n
- Own the business requirements and feature roadmap for the PUDO fulfilment platform, working closely with Product and IT teams to deliver new functionality. \n
Locker Network

- Define the European locker strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall OOH vision. \n
- Develop strategic partnerships with external locker networks to expand customer access and create commercial opportunities. \n
- Define locker fulfilment SOPs and operational standards. \n
- Lead the development and evaluation of JDL's own locker network and technology pilot to assess future expansion opportunities. \n
Leadership & Governance
\n- \n
- Lead the central European OOH team and manage country Team Leads responsible for network expansion. \n
- Guide local teams in developing partnerships while ensuring execution follows the central strategy and operational standards. \n
- Monitor country performance, identify structural issues, and drive continuous operational improvements across the network. \n
Cross-functional Collaboration
\n- \n
- Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Product, IT, Procurement, Legal, and Customer Service teams to successfully implement OOH initiatives. \n
- Lead cross-functional projects and ensure successful delivery of strategic priorities across Europe. \n
