HGV Class 2 Driver/ Motor sport team memberLocation: SilverstoneHours of Work: Monday to Friday. Please note that there will be weekend work and nights away but in hotelsSalary: £42,000 per annumInteraction Recruitment are supporting our prestigious Automotive client in Northamptonshire. We are hiring for a HGV Driver who will be heavily involved with their Sports teams and vehicles.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE WILL INVOLVE REGULAR TRAVEL AROUND THE UK AND SOME DRIVING IN EUROPE. THERE WILL BE HOTELS PAID FOR, BUT PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF THIS IS AN ISSUE.You will be provide logistics support, ensuring all enquipment and cars are delivered to venues around the UK and Europe. At weekend racing events, you will be involved with putting wheels and tyres on the cars. In addition, there will be work in the factory in Sixfields. This role will not just be driving.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver racing cars and equipmentTake responsibilities for wheels and tyres for the Grand PrixEnsure vehicles and equipment are transported correctly and securelyEnsure all vehicles are kept in a permanently clean and presentable condition both inside and outSet up and pack up the cars in accordance with the championship organisations ruleEnsure legality within O Licence regulations, Drivers hours and WTDWho are we looking for:Ideally we are seeking someone who has a passion for motor sports as there will be a significant amount of looking after the cars. It would be greatly beneficial if you have driven Grand Prix vehicles before but not essential as substantial training will be provided.It is essential that you are happy to be flexible with your work and also a team player as this will not just involve HGV Driving.Main Duties of the role:Drive race trucks to/ from UK & EU races and testsEnsure upkeepEnsure safe loading & unloaded of all trucks.Participate in garage set up, management of tyres & fuels.Ensure company image is maintained at each event.Assist the transport Manager with all vehicle maintenance regarding vehicle PMI/LVBT/MOT's, whilst back in the workshopMinimum Requirements :1 years HGV driving experienceMust hold valid Class 1 HGV licenceA maximum of 6 pointsExperience of managing tyres & fuel at minimum F3 levelMust be over 23 years oldRole involves extensive EU travel so valid passport is requiredPlease apply with an updated cv.To discuss your application, you can call Dan Pearce.07791991352INDNHTPBN1_UKTJ
