Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer - Birmingham & the Midlands Region Global Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial & Public SectorAre you an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a mobile role across the Midlands ? CBW Staffing Solutions have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading facilities management organisation on a permanent basis, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts.This role is predominantly based around Birmingham, with additional coverage across the East and West Midlands and Stoke, so candidates must be willing to travel as part of the role.PackageSalary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)Van & fuel card suppliedCore hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)Participation in an out of hours on call rota (1 in every 7 weeks)25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysGenerous workplace pension schemeTraining, development & progression opportunitiesResponsibilitiesServicing, maintenance and repair of commercial boilersWorking on associated commercial gas equipmentMaintenance of gas fired radiant heatersServicing water heatersFault finding and maintenance of control valvesOccasional work on domestic boilersCarrying out inspections, testing and ensuring all gas systems operate safely and efficientlyDiagnosing faults and completing repairs across a variety of commercial sites including schools, office buildings and specialist facilitiesRequirementsEssential gas qualifications: COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1/CDGA1, ICPN1, CPA1, BMP1 and CCP1 (CCN1 and CENWAT are beneficial)Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer within a facilities management or building services environmentFull UK driving licenceStrong fault-finding and maintenance experience on commercial gas systemsAbility to work independently across multiple sitesGood communication and customer service skillsWillingness to travel across Birmingham, the East and West Midlands and Stoke (Engineers are expected to contribute up to one hour travel each way)Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS with Barred Lists checkIf you are a dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a rewarding mobile role with a leading FM provider, please apply with your full CV or contact Amy O'Shea at CBW Staffing Solutions.TPBN1_UKTJ
