We aim to be at the heart of our communities and to be the skills engine that drives the success of North Wales.Job purposeWe are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Lecturer in Computing and Information Technology to join our established and supportive team based at our Dolgellau campus. The successful candidate will teach across our FE (Further Education) programmes, providing high-quality and engaging learning experiences that help students develop the skills they need for industry and further study. Our learners study the two-year Level 3 BTEC in Computing and Information Technology and the Welsh Baccalaureate. Your duties will include preparing and delivering engaging lectures to our learners, along with the associated administration, assessment, and quality assurance.Applications are welcomed from individuals with recent experience working in the sector.If you are new to teaching, we will support you to gain a recognised teaching qualification in Further Education. You will also have access to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and mentoring.Contract type - FractionalWeekly hours -30 hours per week. 677 hours annual teaching time 19 to 21 hours teaching per week.Up to 4 hours per week working off site in agreement with manager.Annual Leave - ? 46 days leave per annum.? All normally observed public holidays, determined annually.? Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.?
