Class 1 Driver

Vanta Staffing are recruiting for 3 x Class 1 Drivers to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve trunking work, a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company.

Requirements of a Class 1 Driver:

\n
• Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
\n
• Be able to complete 2-3 runs - Day work / Trunking work - Nights
\n
• Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
\n
• No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
\n

Details:

\n
• Salary: £18ph - Days / £19ph - Nights
\n
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (05.00 am start) or (17.00 start)
\n
• Location: Reading
\n
• Duration: Temp Ongoing work
\n

Role of a Class 1 Driver:

\n
• Complete trunking runs; trailer swapping will be involved - Nights
\n
• Collections and delivery work (2-3 runs) - Days
\n
• Complete vehicle checks
\n
• Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
\n
