Senior Project Manager

Join a leading telecommunications company as a Senior Project Manager!

Job Overview: We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex transformation projects within a fast-paced enterprise environment. Working across strategic business, consumer and regulatory initiatives, you will be responsible for delivering projects end-to-end, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

• Contract Length: until 31st March 2027 (with visibility to extend)

• Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35)
\n
• Location: Newbury (hybrid – twice per week on-site)

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation projects from mobilisation through to implementation.
\n
• Define project scope, requirements, governance frameworks, plans, budgets and resource requirements.
\n
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
\n
• Drive effective stakeholder engagement across business, technical and leadership teams.
\n
• Provide clear and transparent reporting on project progress, milestones and key decisions.
\n
• Oversee project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking and capital expenditure management.
\n
• Champion best practice project management standards, governance and continuous improvement.
\n

Key Requirements

\n
• Significant experience delivering complex transformation projects within large corporate environments.
\n
• Proven track record managing projects with budgets of approximately £1m-£2m.
\n
• Strong project governance, planning, risk management and reporting experience.
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
\n
• Hands-on Project Manager who can drive delivery and proactively resolve challenges.
\n
• Telecommunications experience is desirable.
\n
