The Opportunity

\n

A specialist Employment law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join its growing team. This is a fully remote position, offering genuine flexibility while providing access to high-quality work and a collaborative team environment. For those who enjoy occasional office time, the firm's North West office is available to use.

\n

The firm acts as an extension of the HR teams of a number of household-name businesses, advising on a broad range of employment law matters. The role offers an excellent balance of contentious and non-contentious work, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their expertise within a specialist practice.

The Role

\n

You will manage a varied caseload of employment matters, including:

\n
    \n
  • Advising employers on day-to-day employment law issues.
  • \n
  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to conclusion.
  • \n
  • Advising on senior executive exits and settlement agreements.
  • \n
  • Handling discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal matters.
  • \n
  • Supporting clients with workplace investigations and disciplinary or grievance processes.
  • \n
  • Advising on restrictive covenants, post-termination restrictions and related disputes.
  • \n
  • Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted employment law adviser.
  • \n

About You

\n

The successful candidate will:

\n
    \n
  • Be a qualified Solicitor with 3 years' experience in Employment law.
  • \n
  • Have experience advising employer clients.
  • \n
  • Be confident managing their own caseload with appropriate supervision.
  • \n
  • Enjoy building long-term client relationships.
  • \n
  • Have excellent communication and commercial awareness.
  • \n
  • Be proactive, organised and able to work autonomously within a remote environment.
  • \n
