IP AdministratorThis highly sought-after, successful, and supportive IP firm is looking for a highly organised Trademark Administrator / IP Administrator to join its busy, growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative or secretarial experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment supporting a specialist legal team.Based in either London or Cambridge, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support to trademark professionals, ensuring matters are handled accurately, efficiently and within deadlines.TheIP Administrator RoleAs a IP Administrator, you will be working as part of a collaborative trademark support team, you'll manage a broad range of trademark administration and formalities, taking ownership of routine matters while supporting more complex work under guidance. You'll work closely with fee earners, paralegals, accounts and renewals teams to deliver an exceptional service to clients.IP Administrator Key ResponsibilitiesManaging trademark administration tasks from a shared workflowPreparing correspondence for clients, intellectual property offices and overseas associatesFiling and progressing UK and international trademark and design applicationsProcessing official correspondence and monitoring critical deadlinesManaging team inboxes and maintaining accurate electronic recordsCompleting trademark formalities and preparing supporting documentationCoordinating trademark searches and preparing reports for clientsAssisting with oppositions, official actions, recordals and other prosecution mattersPreparing exhibits and documentation for formal proceedingsSupporting UDRP and domain name dispute filingsAssisting with invoicing, cost estimates and general administrative processesProviding support to new team members on departmental procedures where requiredAbout YouYou'll be an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a consistently high standard of work.Ideally, you'll have:Previous experience in an administrative, legal secretarial or trademark support roleExcellent typing, document production and proofreading skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, with working knowledge of Excel and PowerPointExcellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsA proactive, collaborative and positive approach to teamworkThe ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and clientsA commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and excellent client serviceExperience within intellectual property or knowledge of trademark formalities would be advantageous, as would familiarity with Inprotech and a CITMA qualification, although these are not essential.If you're an organised administrator looking to develop your career within intellectual property and join a respected, collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
