\nAre you an experienced Housing Officer looking for your next contract? \n
\nWe're recruiting for a Housing Officer to join a leading housing provider covering Plymouth and South Hams. This is a field-based role where you'll manage tenancies, support residents, tackle neighbourhood issues and help create safe, well-maintained communities. \n
\nThe initial contract is for two months, with the potential for extension. \n
\nThe Role \n
\nYou'll be the main point of contact for residents across your patch, delivering a high standard of housing and tenancy management services. \n
\nYour responsibilities will include: \n
\nManaging tenancy enquiries and providing advice and support to residents \n
\nCarrying out tenancy sign-ups and property viewings \n
\nInvestigating and managing tenancy breaches, including safeguarding concerns \n
\nMonitoring estate standards and contractor performance \n
\nBuilding positive relationships with residents, colleagues and partner agencies \n
\nSupporting community engagement initiatives and neighbourhood sustainability \n
\nEnsuring tenancy agreements and housing policies are adhered to \n
\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\nTo be successful in this role, you'll have:\n
\n
\nPrevious experience within social housing \n
\nExperience of tenancy, estate and housing management \n
\nStrong customer service and relationship-building skills \n
\nThe ability to manage a varied caseload and competing priorities \n
\nGood organisational and problem-solving skills \n
\nCIH Level 4 qualification, or willingness to work towards it \n
\nA full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle \n
\n

\nSalary equivalent of £39,923 per annum \n
\n37 hours per week, Monday to Friday \n
\nField-based role covering Plymouth and South Hams \n
\nImmediate start available \n
\nInitial 2-month contract with potential to be extended \n
